extra cargo space, and a rear wiper that keeps the back window clear for
a thorough line of vision.
Other comforts and conveniences available as options include air conditioning,

AM/FM stereo with CD player. A handy remote keyless entry system, power
door locks, dual power mirrors, power windows, and a theft deterrent system
are all available to you as package deals.
The Jeep Liberty Limited headlines as standards cruise control, a remote
keyless entry system, power windows, power door locks, dual power mirrors,
AM/FM stereo with CD player, and tilt steering wheel. Leather upholstery
is offered to you as an option.
Exterior Features
The Jeep Liberty Limited Sport Utility and Liberty Sport 4WD
Sport Utility add to the base package dual power outside mirrors and front
fog lights to slice through dense fog on murky nights and hazy early mornings.
Performance
Each Jeep Liberty Sport is equipped with a 150 horsepower,
four-cylinder engine with DOHC, 167 lbs-ft of torque, and sequential port
fuel injection. The vehicle is fitted with all-season SBR tires, and the
standard drive type is two-wheel rear. Five-speed manual transmission
is also standard fare, with automatic transmission available as an option.
The Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD and Jeep Liberty Limited 4WD add the increased
power and control of four-wheel on-demand drive for highly impressive
performance in adverse conditions. The Jeep Liberty Limited follows with
rear wheel drive again, but highlights an upgrade to a six-cylinder engine
with SOHC, 210 horsepower, and 235 lbs-ft of torque, plus standard four-speed
automatic transmission.
Safety and Security
The Jeep Liberty Sport Utility measures up well in the safety
department, featuring both front and rear head restraints, three-point
seatbelts, a passenger side air bag, and a driver side air bag. Side impact
air bags, ABS brakes, and front fog lights are all available to you as
