Available Models
Choose from two different models this year - the Toyota 4Runner SR5 or the Toyota 4Runner Limited. Each of these models offers you a choice between two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive for those with tougher performance demands.

Interior Features
The Toyota 4Runner is graced with elements of luxury such as front four-way adjustable fabric bucket seats, a 50/50 split folding rear bench for accommodating surplus cargo, full cut-pile carpeting, and an overhead console with a garage door opener/sunglass holder. The interior also sports a center console storage box with dual cupholders and two power outlets. There is also an additional power outlet in the cargo area.

The SR5 model is equipped with an illuminated ignition key ring, glove box light, map lights, power door locks, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power windows, AM/FM stereo with CD player and six speakers, armrests, power rear window, tinted glass, and entry assist grips. As well, the SR5 comes in a Chrome Package or Sport Edition.

The 4Runner Limited adds HomeLink garage door opener, illuminated vanity mirror, rich wood trim color, power driver and passenger seats with heaters, genuine leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic air conditioning.

Exterior Features
The Toyota 4Runners tough exterior is complimented by color-keyed dual power heated outside mirrors, integrated fog lights, color-keyed bumpers, rear license plate garnish, front grille, and a power rear window. A wide variety of exterior paint colors are offered depending on the package you choose. Limited adds sixteen-inch aluminum alloy wheels with five spokes.

Performance
4Runner is equipped with a strong 3.4-litre, SOHC, six-cylinder engine that cranks out 183 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque. Each model is offered in two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The fuel economy rating for the 2WD vehicles is 17/20 mpg (city/hwy) while the 4WD models check in at 16/19 mpg (city/hwy). The standard transmission for the 4Runner is a smooth-shifting and efficient automatic.

Standard on all four-wheel drive models is Toyota's "4WDemand" shift-on-the-fly engagement system, which allows you to engage the system at speeds of up to 62 mph. Also standard is a two-speed transfer case. Switch from 4WD to 2WD at the touch of a button.

Safety and Security
The Toyota 4Runner is bolstered with ABS brakes, brake assist, three-point seatbelts, driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, side impact door beams, front and rear crumple zones, and child seat tethers and anchors. As well, each vehicle features child safety locks, and center high mount stop light. The Limited model offers a theft deterrent system with engine immobilizer.
