five-speed automatic Tiptronic automatic transmission is available as

In the performance department for the VW GTI VR6 Hatchback is an impressive
2.8-litre six-cylinder engine that produces 174 horsepower and 181 lb-ft
of torque.

Both of the GTI Hatchback models feature extensive safety features
that include electronic differential lock, anti-slip regulation, protective
padding inside side doors, side impact door beams, hard shell box around
the battery for protection, driver air bag, passenger air bag, side impact
air bags, side curtain air bags, three-point seatbelts at all seating
