The engine links to the Hydra-Matic 4L60-E heavy-duty electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
Naturally, the Escalade EXT is built for high-performance. An improved all-wheel drive system is standard, as is traction control, load-leveling suspension, a rear-obstacle detection system and automatic shock-absorber control. Nothing is really left out, is it?

Safety and Security
Certainly safety and security are of primary importance, and this is reflected both in the EXT's sturdy construction and its standard equipment package.
