For more strength, one need only step up to the XJR and Super V8 models. They feature a turbocharged engine of the same dimensions. However, they are quite a bit faster. With 358 horsepower at 6150 rpm and 372 lb-ft. of torque at 3600 rpm, they are among the fastest cars on the road.

All 2007 Jaguar XJ Series trims have a 5-speed automatic transmission and antiskid/traction control. The Super V8 features a softer version of the XJR's sport-oriented computer-controlled suspension, as well as a navigation system that costs extra in other XJs.
