2007 Mazda Protege5

The 2007 Mazda Protege5 is a station wagon that combines a sporty look and feel with good fuel economy, and exterior and interior trimmings. Developed from the winning formula that has helped its cousin the Protegé sedan move consistently up the sales rankings in 2001 and 2006, it shares many of the Protégé's attributes. It also incorporates extras intended to appeal to versatile consumers.

Interior Features

For this wagon, 5-speed manual transmission is standard, with automatic 4-speed transmission an option. This automatic transmission is available with the Sport AT system, which allows the driver to shift manually if desired.

Safety and Security
Safety and security features in the Protégé 5 include dual front airbags and an emergency trunk release. Options allow the consumer to include a theft deterrent system with an alarm, as well as front-side airbags and anti-lock brakes.
