2007 Nissan Pathfinder
The quality-built 2007 Nissan Pathfinder is roomy, comfortable, and capable
of holding an astounding amount of cargo. Like most midsize SUVs, it is
a 4-door wagon, and seats five. Available in either rear-wheel drive or
4-wheel drive, it is the vehicle to have when traveling distances as it
admits little to no road noise.
Available Models
The 2007 Nissan Pathfinder comes in the SE or LE models. Both are available
as either 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive, and both have automatic transmission.
The options packages include the Leather Package for the SE models, and
the Dynamic Control Package for both the SE and LE.
Interior Features
Cruise control, a digital clock, air conditioning, and remote keyless
entry are all standard on both Pathfinder models. The folding rear seat
is extremely useful for accommodating additional cargo. Also standard
are the leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel, heated power mirrors, a tachometer,
and front bucket seats. Additional standard features available in the
LE include automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a compass, an
outside temperature indicator, illuminated visor mirrors, and a Bose AM/FM
radio with in-dash 6-disc CD changer.
Exterior Features
The 2007 Nissan Pathfinder has a number of attractive exterior features.
These include automatic headlights, a roof rack, rear privacy glass, and
tubular step rails. There are also alloy wheels, and conveniently placed
tow hooks on both models. The LE also has running boards and a power sunroof
as standard features. A tow hitch is a popular option on this versatile
SUV.
Performance
The 2007 Nissan Pathfinder's 3.5-litre dohc V6 engine offers the following
performance: 240 hp at 6000 rpm, and 265 lbs-ft of torque at 3200 rpm.
It comes with 4-speed automatic transmission. Both the 2-wheel drive and
4-wheel drive systems include low-range gearing. A taut suspension means
the Pathfinder steers and corners well.
Safety and Security
For 2007, Nissan offers front side airbags, and curtain side airbags in
both Pathfinder models: optional in the SE, and standard in the LE. The
curtain side airbags are particularly welcome, since they are designed
to protect both front and rear seats. Dual front airbags of course continue
to be standard in both models. Anti-lock brakes are also standard features
in both the SE and the LE.
An anti-skid/traction control system is available as an option for the
Pathfinder. LATCH-system child-seat anchors are now included in all models,
as is a theft-deterrent system. Fog lights are included among the LE model's
array of standard features.
