2007 Toyota Sienna
The 2007 Toyota Sienna is this manufacturer's only minivan. Assembled
at its Kentucky plant, where it also produces the Avalon and Camry sedans,
the Sienna has long been identified as a quality leader in its segment.
Long-lasting value is a major characteristic popular with consumers who
choose the Sienna but it is also favoured because of the nimble, car-like

Available Models
The 2007 Toyota Sienna comes in three model grades - CE, LE, and the top
of the line XLE, but one size, with 114.2-inch wheelbase, 194.2-inch length,
and seating for seven passengers in roomy comfort.
Interior Features
This year, for the first time, the base 2007 Toyota Sienna CE offers an
optional power right-hand sliding door (a manual right-hand sliding door
is standard) and captain's chair second-row seating, features previously
reserved for the other models. Other innovations enhance the value of
the entry CE model, which comes well equipped for family duty. Its generous
standard equipment even includes dual zone (front and rear) air conditioning
with a rear control panel.
Other standard equipment on the CE includes high solar energy-absorbing
(HSEA) glass, a six-way adjustable driver's seat, a deluxe 3-in-1 cassette/CD
four-speaker sound system, tilt steering wheel with auxiliary audio controls,
front and rear 12-volt power outlets, variable intermittent windshield
wipers, a battery-saver feature and a heavy duty rear window defogger.
This is a van designed to move and protect families.
The LE trim level adds significantly to the roster with cruise control,
power-operated rear quarter windows, rear privacy glass, power windows
with driver's one-touch up/down and jam protection, power door locks and
upgraded seat fabric. Finally, the top-line XLE has standard middle-row
captain's chairs and amenities including automatic climate control, heated
exterior mirrors, a premium JBL eight-speaker sound system, power-adjustable
six-way driver's seat, a security system with engine immobilizer and a
HomeLink® universal garage door opener.
Exterior Features
The 2007 Toyota Sienna is based has a car like ride with Camry-like styling.
It has roof rack, fog lights, alloy wheels and 215/65R15 tires at the
LXLE level, all adding form and function enhancements.
Performance
Sienna minivans are powered by a single powerful engine choice for all
trim-levels; 3.0-liter dohc V6 with Toyota's advanced Variable Valve Timing
with intelligence (VVT-i) system. It is capable of a respectable 210 hp
at 5800rpm and 220 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 4400 and the VVt-I system
ensure ample power for easy merging at highway speed.
The Sienna has EPA certification as a Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) with
19/24 mpg (city/hwy). The Sienna can tow up to 2,000 pounds, or up to
3,500 with the optional tow prep package.
Safety and Security
The 2007 Toyota Sienna is a leader in safety with a "Best Pick"
rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and five
stars (the highest possible rating) from the National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration (NHTSA) for frontal crashes. Three-point seatbelts
for all outboard positions, pretensioners and force limiters on front
seatbelts, and second and third-row LATCH brackets and CRS tethers for
securing child seats all contribute to the safety record.
All Sienna grades models come with an anti-lock brake system (ABS) with
Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), daytime running lights, and
a tire pressure warning system while options include Vehicle Skid Control
(VSC) with traction control (TRAC) and Brake Assist.
