Exterior Features
The 2008 Chevrolet Aveo was created in Giorgetto Giugiaro's Italdesign studios in Turin, Italy. It has clean lines and short front and rear overhangs, distinctive aerodynamic halogen headlamps with facetted lenses, amber side turn signal lamps and jewel-like taillamps for a unique appearance.

Performance
Not a roaster, the front-wheel drive Aveo rests its mettle on solid craftsmanship. It is equipped 1.6-liter, inline 4-cylinder engine with 105 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 107 lb-ft of torque at 3600 rpm.
4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmissions are available. Automatics have a fuel rating of 26/35 mpg (city/highway), while manuals get 28/34 mpg (city/highway).

Chevrolet tested the Aveo's suspension in both Europe and the U.S. It is tuned to provide a controlled ride and responsive handling.

Safety and Security
